A Conversation with Steven Levitsky


Dr.Steven Levitsky is the David Rockefeller Professor of Latin American Studies and Professor of Government at Harvard University, where he also serves as Director of the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies. His research interests include democratization and authoritarianism, political parties, and weak and informal institutions, with a particular focus on Latin America and the crisis of democracy in the United States.

Levitsky is the co-author, along with Daniel Ziblatt, of "How Democracies Die," a New York Times Best-Seller published in 30 languages, and "Tyranny of the Minority: Why American Democracy Reached the Breaking Point."

Dr. Levitsky's talk will be held in-person at the Jesup Memorial Library and will also be available for streaming.
