Hang out with the League and the Portland Area chapter at the coolest community center in Portland. Get connected with folks who are passionate about voting and informing their neighbors about important election information. We'll celebrate the work our volunteers have done - if you've been involved, join us so we can celebrate you! Even small actions, when they add up, can make a large impact. 

Summer has flown by and we're rolling into election season. We have a long history (100+ years) of educating and informing voters, and with a full lineup of projects and programs for the fall, you could be a part of that legacy. So even if you've never volunteered before, join us to meet the people who have and learn how you might fit into our work making sure the people of Maine are educated and engaged in our democracy.

We'll need dedicated volunteers to work on candidate forums (where voters hear from their candidates), guides to referendum questions that will appear on the ballot, nonpartisan election observation on election day, voter registration drives, and more! There are plenty of roles to fill that require various skills and interest-level. There's room for anyone who wants to dip a toe or dive headfirst into our work.
